The Big Gourd Drawing This wine kettle gourd was grown by Fred McCorkle of Windfall, IN with the help of mother nature and has been crafted by the following Missouri artists: Pat Wilkinson, Cass Iverson, Rob Ghio, Bert L. Petris, Susan Forrest, Lori Dahir, Elaine Endicotte, Eddie Taylor, Melynda Lotven (with assistance from Olivia Lotven), and it is still on its journey until it is completed. Celebrating the year of the farmer, after it is completed it will then be on display at the Indiana Show in March and then offered in a drawing at the 5th Annual Show Me Gourd Society Festival in Sedalia Missouri, April 26th and 27th. Cass Iverson of Sturgeon, Missouri painted this beautiful country landscape, with windmill, farm house and laundry blowing in the breeze. |

Susan Forrest of Sturgeon, Missouri painted this beautiful wreath of gourds around the bottom of the gourd, surrounding a wood burned feed sack by Rob Ghio. Inside the feed sack are the signatures of all the artists. |
