Making luffa soap

We buy 2 pound glycerin soap blocks. Some coloring and some rose oil.

The plastic tray was bought at a craft supply store Michaels as well as the soap supplies

We sliced the luffa to fit in the plastic tray.

The luffa is sized to fit

 We used a double boiler but a microwave works as well.

We melted down the soap.

After the soap is melted we drop in the color and scent.

I pour the soap in the tray.

After it hardens (about 2 hours) I sliced the soap into cakes.

We packaged the soap in cello bags.
