Gourd Societies

Welcome to the wonderful world of Gourds. Gourd by definition is any plant of the Cucurbita including melons, squashes, pumpkins, etc., especially the fruit of the plant Lageneria vulgaris, the bottle gourd, of many varieties. The rind is tough, and when dried, is often used for dippers, bottles, etc....

A Gourd Head by definition is someone crazy about gourds, wishing to be with others to learn more, share ideas, and talk Gourd. Gourd societies are such groups. Here is a list of gourd societies and contacts around the world.
