The Lotven family has been foster parents for the Central Missouri Humane Society for five years now. This has been very rewarding. Currently we have fostered 110 puppies and dogs. Our adoption success rate is 95%. We are proud of this considering that the national average is less that 20%. I'll take a quick moment to remind all of you to spay and neuter your animals.

My daughter Olivia and Bo
|Well I will be adopting Bo.. I can't imagine turning my head and "BO" not being there.....he follows me everywhere up the stairs, down the stairs out to the car and gets so excited when I take Jeremiah to school.... |
Bo my cocker poodle mix
Simba, our 8 year old Golden Retriever, is the biggest baby of all and and the apple of this lion lovers eye. He does suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder regarding playing fetch.
Bennie, a 9 year old Terrier, was about 6 months old when he was dumped on the road and found his way to us......He knew a good thing when he saw it
Cosmo, a 5 year old brindle mutant dachshund, was our third foster that we just had to adopt. We have felt that way about many more of our fosters since then. Personally I could adopt them all.
Jeremiah with Cosmo Christmas 2002
He was found on Highway 44 near Lebanon, MO while family was waiting 4 hours for an accident to be cleared up. This little guy was weaving in and out of cars, found ours and of course we had to bring him home.
Highway found a wonderful home, Olivia misses him much but now has Princess!!!!
